BOODLE FEAST CUT OFF - ALL TICKETS MUST BE PURCHASED BEFORE MIDDAY, FRIDAY 13TH MARCH
A Boodle Feast (or Boodle Fight) is traditionally a Filipino military style of eating, doing away with cutlery and dishes. Food is placed on a long table covered with banana leaves. Diners typically stand shoulder to shoulder, in a line on both sides of the table.
We've adapted this experience to offer chairs for those who may want them, and serving cutlery for the central dishes.
Wanting to book Boodle Feast meal tickets but have a small child who won't be participating? There will be a children's space in the hall with toys within eye shot of the Boodle table for you to watch your child as you enjoy your meal.
You must pre-book your Boodle Feast Banquet tickets before the day of the event.

Our Catering Team - Myla and Russel Ceballos
We warmly welcome our newest community members to Pyramid Hill, Myla and Russel Ceballos, owners of Ballarat local favourite KirkRussel's Take Away, a restaurant and catering business. They have just moved here from Ballarat with their young child and we are just so excited that they will be catering for the Fiesta this year!
Myla and Russel were both originally from south of Cebu in Boljoon town. This brings a different flavour to this year's food, as previous years focused more on flavours from the north. We are excited to try the differences during the Boodle Feast Banquet. Check out below, what Boodle Feasts they've done previously. |
Who Loves Filipino Food? Myla of KirkRussel's Take Away tells us that when Australians come to visit the Philippines, they absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE the food.
We know that often, food in Australia has been adapted over time. To be able to get a real sense of what the cuisine is like in the Philippines, Myla and Russel are making sure they keep it authentic to their southern hometown of Bolgoon in regional Cebu.
Myla has a diploma in culinary skills. All of the menu items that you will be enjoying as part of Boodle Feast Banquet are her own recipes, developed over many years. They are very specific to her region and the tastes she was exposed to at family and community celebrations while growing up.
Love Lumpia? Then you will love trying her special recipe. It's a must try for any spring roll fanatic.
